Ilaria graduated in Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” (2003), holds a Master’s Degree in State Management and Humanitarian Affairs from the University of Rome “Eurosapienza” (2008) and a Doctorate in Translation, Interpreting and Intercultural Studies from the University of Bologna “AMS” -DIT Forlì (2014).

She works as an editor in the Dictionary Division of Zanichelli editore SpA, an Italian publishing company. She is highly-specialized technical translator and technical writer having relevant experience in Controlled Natural Languages. She is the author of a Spanish-based Controlled Natural Language Español Técnico Simplificado and an Italian-based Controlled Natural Language Italiano Tecnico Semplificato ITS®, developed for COM&TEC.
