Abstract

Currently, several initiatives are underway to define the terminology of Technical Communication. The royal road to the terminology of a new field of practice is to do systematic semantic field analysis upfront, Michael was told.

In this “tour d’horizon” he will reveal the approach to his own activities. Takeaways are some ideas about the theory of Technical Communication and how these can be used as a baseline for our terminology work.
