Abstract

FAIR terminology is a new paradigm for the optimal organization and management of terminological data and resources.

This speech describes the principles for designing and implementing terminological tools according to the latest ISO standard for terminology management.

In this context this speech presents the advantages deriving from the adoption of such paradigm for text professionals, such as technical communicators and specialized translators.

Finally, this sppech focuses on the description of the FAIRterm web application as a new terminological tool aiming to enhance precision, consistency, standardization, and preservation of the specialized terminology for a given domain.
