Giacomo Riccio has a degree in Political Science from the University of Milan, International and Diplomatic Sciences from the University of Trieste and a Master in Diplomacy from the Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI).
He has been studying abroad for years. He speaks Italian, English, Spanish and French.
In 2018 Giacomo worked at the European Parliament as a staff member of an MEP (Member of the European Parliament) of the S&D group, with a specific focus on ECON and CULT Commissions.
At the end of 2018 Giacomo began his career in UNI (Italian Standardization Body) as a Technical Officer following national (UNI / CT006 Non-Regulated Professional Activities, UNI / CT038 Social Responsibility of Organizations and UNI / CT058 Cities, Communities and Sustainable Infrastructures) and international tables (CEN / TC340 Anti-Seismic Devices, CEN / TC344 Steel Static Storage Systems).
Since 2020 he is Technical Project Manager within the Innovation and Development Division of UNI with a focus on the “Society, services and professions” area.
From 2019 to 2021 Giacomo followed, among others, the developments of the work of GL 06 Professional profiles operating in the field of communication of UNI / CT006 for the revision of the UNI 11483: 2021 standard Non-regulated professional activities – Professional communicator – Requirements for knowledge, skills and autonomy and responsibility, recently published.
Since 2018, for passion, Giacomo collaborates with the local radio YoungRadio taking care of the contributions for the European program.
